Start with one celland a numberyou already track.

In brief

The most useful first conversation is not a demo. It is a shop tour and an hour with your welding and quality engineers, choosing the station where autonomy would matter most.

What happens next

Four steps, about six weeks to a decision

No sequence of nurture emails. A structured technical evaluation.

  1. 01

    Reply

A member of the team replies within two business days — an engineer, not a sequence.

  2. 02

    Scoping call

Forty-five minutes with your welding and quality engineers on joints, codes, equipment and the metric that matters.

  3. 03

    Shop tour

We walk the line, look at the NDT records, and propose the cell where the pain has a number attached.

  4. 04

    Scorecard proposal

A written pilot proposal with scope, baseline design, targets, exit criteria and price. You decide from there.

Before you write

What makes a first conversation useful

Three things, and none of them are budget. First, a station you can name — the one that sets the rate of the shop or generates the most rework. Second, a number attached to it that your own systems already produce.

Third, the two engineers who will have to live with the deployment: the welding or process engineer who owns the procedures, and the quality engineer who owns the code record. If they are not in the room, the conversation is theatre.

If you have those, we can usually tell you within a week whether Weldeon is the right call for you — including when it is not.

Qualification

What we will ask

So you can decide whether the conversation is worth your time.

Volume
Is there enough repeat weld value on one cell or line to make ROI legible?
Equipment
Robotic welding or cutting with controller access, some NDT, and an MES with an API.
Codes
Which regimes apply — AWS D1.1, ASME BPVC, ISO 3834, EN 1090 — and who signs.
Mandate
Is there an executive mandate to lift yield or cut rework, with budget behind it?
Scorecard
Are you willing to run a paid pilot against a defined, pre-agreed metric?
